I love autumn and all its coziness, but there’s one thing I must admit I’m not a big fan of: the low energy, the continual tiredness, and the mood swings I experience during this time of year. As the days grow shorter, many of us start feeling the effects of seasonal fatigue. The transition into autumn can bring about tiredness and low energy, a condition often linked to Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
As some of you may know, I'm currently redoing the 75 Soft Challenge. Good sleep hygiene has been my biggest struggle this time around, and I want to share some of the things that have helped me stay on track while also listening to my body and making adjustments as needed.
Let me share six things I do to fight seasonal tiredness naturally and boost my energy during this transitional season.
1. Warm Up with Natural Remedies
One of the simplest ways to lift your energy levels during the colder months is to indulge in warm, comforting herbal teas. Peppermint, ginseng, and green tea are fantastic options for a natural energy boost. Not only do these teas warm you up, but they also invigorate your senses and improve mental clarity.
2. Eat Energizing Foods
A crucial part of the 75 Soft Challenge is fueling your body with whole, nutritious foods, especially as we tackle fall fatigue. Focus on foods rich in vitamins and minerals. Spinach, almonds, and bananas are high in magnesium, which is really good for boosting energy and keeping you alert. If you’re not getting enough magnesium from your meals, a supplement might be just what you need to combat tiredness. I personally enjoy making the Sleepy Girl Mocktail (which you can find under the cocktail tab) to help me unwind and ease into sleep.
3. Stay Hydrated
As the weather cools down, it’s easy to forget about hydration, but staying hydrated is key to maintaining energy. Dehydration can lead to fatigue, so keep water or herbal teas close at hand throughout the day. Warm water with lemon is a pretty goodl option that not only hydrates but also aids digestion.
4. Prioritize Sleep
Please don’t overlook the importance of rest. Autumn is a great time to establish a strong sleep routine. Listen to your body—if it’s telling you to sleep more, honor that need. Aim for an extra 45 minutes to an hour of sleep if necessary. Creating a consistent sleep schedule and avoiding screens before bed can really help regulate your circadian rhythm (I literally just learned that word 2 minutes ago in the book I'm curently reading. ahah)
5. Stay Active
One of the pillars of the 75 Soft Challenge is staying active, and this becomes even more essential during the fall. Try to get outside as much as you can, even if it’s just for a 15 min walk. Walking not only gives you sunlight exposure to help regulate your mood but also boosts blood flow and releases endorphins that combat fatigue.
6. Use Light Therapy
If you find yourself particularly affected by the shorter days, consider light therapy. Light boxes that simulate sunlight can significantly boost your mood and energy by helping regulate your body’s internal clock. Just 20-30 minutes a day can make a noticeable difference in combating the effects of reduced daylight.
By focusing on these natural remedies while continuing your 75 Soft Challenge, you can maintain your energy and keep your body strong this fall. Remember to listen to your body, fuel it with whole foods, stay active, and rest when you need to. I hope these little hacks will be helpful to you! If you’re interested in the items I mentioned, I’ve listed everything here, but please don’t feel pressured to buy anything you don’t need—only check them out if you genuinely think they’ll help you. This season can be transformative, and with these tips, you’ll feel energized and ready to embrace the changes ahead! Thank you for reading, and let’s talk again soon
I finally caved and gave K-dramas a shot in early 2020. Yeah, I know, I was late to the party. For years, I'd been hearing about them from my cousin, but I just didn't see the appeal. See, I'm picky about what I watch. Heavy emotions? Suspense? Nope, not my thing. And don't even get me started on shows with too much focus on sex – not for me.
Then, a friend told me she's into K-dramas, mainly romcoms, for the same reasons. I thought, why not? So, I tried one – "My Holo Love" – during a trip to South Asia. Can't say I even remember if I liked it, but somehow, I got hooked.
What got me was how K-dramas tell stories without relying on all the stuff I usually avoid. Instead, they focus on characters, relationships, and personal growth. Plus, there's something for everyone – romcoms, mysteries, historical dramas – you name it.
And the production? Top-notch. Stunning visuals, killer soundtracks, and actors who really draw you in. It's no wonder K-dramas have such a huge fanbase worldwide.
But what I love most? The escape. In a world that's often chaotic, diving into these fictional worlds is like hitting pause on reality for a bit. It's like therapy, but with more drama and fewer copays.
So, if you're like me – late to the K-drama party – don't wait any longer. Give it a shot. You might just find yourself sucked in, like I did.
Now, let's talk about my top 6 K-dramas. But before we get into it, you gotta know – these shows? They got BUDGET. And if you know me, you know I'm all about that beautiful cinematography, and let me tell you, they deliver just that!
Now, fair warning – this list might change over time. I'm always stumbling upon new gems that could shake things up. And I'm sorry but, I couldn't rank them in order. I love 'em all for different reasons.
Sky Castle (Netflix): This one hits hard. It's like peeking into the lives of the rich and powerful, with all their dirty secrets and scandals.
Love, Marriage & Divorce (Netflix): Talk about drama. This one's like a rollercoaster ride through the ups and downs of relationships. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll scream at the screen – it's that good.
Crash Landing on You (Netflix): Ah, the classic star-crossed lovers trope. But with a twist – a North Korean soldier and a South Korean heiress? Sign me up. It's got romance, action, and plenty of laughter.
The Impossible Heir (Disney+): A modern-day Cinderella story with a dash of mystery. It's got all the elements – love, betrayal, redemption – wrapped up in a slick package.
Queen of Tears (Netflix): A powerful story of resilience and strength in the face of adversity. Grab your tissues – you're gonna need 'em.
Agency (Netflix): This one is about starting from the bottom now we're here! Ahaha, no but seriously, it's a good drama about resilience with lots of interesting twists.
Other Korean dramas worth mentioning:
While they didn't make it to my top 6 for various reasons, I still think they're worth mentioning for various reasons. And trust me, I stuck with these till the end for a reason:
Vincenzo (Netflix): An Italian twist to Korean drama. Action and drama abound, with a mafia lawyer taking on corrupt conglomerates. Lots of twists, but I'll be honest here – a very unnecessary love storyline.
Mary My Husband (Amazon Prime): When life gives you a second chance, one can decide to take revenge upon herself. This was truly a good watch with lots of fun twists and great acting. This would have been in my top 6 if they didn't drag the ending. Personally, I felt like this one could have been shorter.
Revenge of Others (Disney+): A series about revenge (shocker! ahah). Set in a prestigious high school, it delves into the dark secrets and power struggles among the students and faculty.
The Glory (Netflix): Another revenge story. This is the story of the meticulous plan a victim sets to take revenge upon former high school bullies. This one will have you glued to the screen till the end, but again, another unnecessary love storyline here.
Record of Youth (Netflix): A coming-of-age story that explores the challenges and aspirations of young people in the entertainment industry. It's a refreshing take on fame, friendship, and pursuing your dreams. I truly love how they discuss the depth of friendship relationships.
Little Women (Netflix): A murder mystery, definitely more of a slow-paced series. This one gets interesting with each episode.
Green Mothers Club (Netflix): Okay, listen, you have to get past the acting of the protagonist. While the story is developing, you will understand why she is the way she is. Another slow-paced series centered around the lives of women in a community grade school where your status is defined by how your children perform in school.
Mine (Netflix): Mystery, money, drama, family. The story of two daughter-in-laws that are married into a conglomerate family filled with secrets and betrayal.
The Devil Judge (Netflix): A legal thriller with a twist – a judge holds court in a dystopian society where trials are broadcast live to the public. It's intense and thought-provoking.
My Name (Netflix): A revenge thriller following a woman who infiltrates a criminal organization to uncover the truth behind her father's death.
Extraordinary Attorney Woo (Netflix): The show follows the life of a woman on the spectrum who follows her dream of being an attorney. This series is heartwarming.
Pachinko (Apple TV+): This drama gives you a glimpse into the complex history of Korea. It explores themes of identity, family, and resilience.
Lamllenel : Jamaica travel
Well, hello there! The first vacation of the year was long overdue, considering I hadn't taken an international trip in almost four years. (Props to me for actually checking off things on my vision board.) While looking for our first destination, there was no question – it had to be an island getaway. Listen, the plan was simple: soak up the sun, feel the island vibes, and just take a load off. Life has been a bit crazy lately, and all I really needed was some chill time by the beach.
With a carefully crafted 7-day itinerary (not really), my escape unfolded into five days of fun in Montego Bay and two unforgettable days in Negril. Let's talk about it.
Montego Bay Highlights:
Accommodation: Living Like a Local
For the majority of our stay in Montego Bay, we opted for an Airbnb. Immersing ourselves in the local lifestyle is my thing and will always be my accommodation of choice when possible. There's something magical about experiencing a destination through the lens of its residents. Additionally, we indulged in the luxury of Excellence Resort in Montego Bay for one night and the captivating charm of Rockhouse in Negril.
Culinary Experience: A Jamaican Feast
Juici Patties: Dive into the world of authentic Jamaican patties at Juici Patties for a mouthwatering experience. The juiciness and flavor make it a must-try for every food enthusiast.
Scothies: Craving jerk chicken? Look no further than Scothies. The succulent chicken and exceptional service make it a delightful culinary experience.
The Pelican: After a day at the beach, grab a quick and satisfying lunch at The Pelican. The convenient option to take a plate to go ensures you waste no time in savoring the local flavors.
Pier One: For a romantic lunch with a breathtaking ocean view, Pier One is the place to be. Indulge in the oxtail and curry goat while being mesmerized by the stunning vista.
Food Shopping: Progressive Market
Progressive Market: is the destination for snacks and groceries ( and way cheaper than Mega mart), offering the best value for your buck. While you can find almost everything there, I recommend going for local merchants who provide fresh fruits and vegetables at reasonable prices.
Beaches: Harmonik Beach Park & Doctors Cave
While Doctors Cave is undeniably beautiful, I don't like going to beaches with too many restrictions. If you don't mind not being allowed to bring snacks and water on-site and don't mind spending ridiculous money off-site for food and snacks, you might want to go there. Keep in mind that as this is a private beach, you'll most likely meet tourists rather than locals. Harmonik Beach Park stole my heart. Its pristine beauty and cleanliness, combined with the presence of locals, created an authentic experience that surpassed the typical tourist crowds.
Negril Extravaganza:
In Negril, our hearts found a home at Rockhouse hotel; it is simply stunning, from accommodation to the restaurant, an exquisite retreat offering stunning ocean views. The impeccable service and mesmerizing surroundings turned our stay into a true Jamaican dream.
Restaurant:
Do yourself a favor and enjoy a romantic dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food and service were really good! Idle Awhile was another restaurant we tried while in Negril; their Jamaican breakfast featuring salted fish, plantains, and dumplings left an indelible mark on my taste buds.
As I reminisce about my time in Jamaica, I can't help but feel grateful for the warmth of its people, the richness of its culture, and the beauty of its landscapes. This journey was not just a vacation; it was a rejuvenating escape that left me with cherished memories and a renewed sense of tranquility. If Jamaica is on your horizon, let these hidden gems guide you to an unforgettable adventure in the heart of the Caribbean.

Lamllenel : A dry January journey
This January, I decided to bring something new into my life. Opting for Dry January for the second year, I wanted to find a fitting addition to my lifestyle. While I love a good mocktail, those who know me understand I'm a wine lover at heart. As I was embarking on this journey again, I discovered some pleasant surprises and a few disappointments. Let's talk about my experiences
Luminara Red Blend, Napa Valley
Our initial choice during Dry January, we visited a non-alcoholic wine shop and picked up this bottle. It's medium-bodied with subtle tannins. It was okay but nothing more. I wouldn't purchase another bottle of this one.
Noughty Wine Syrah South Africa
Surprisingly good, this one was complex and interesting, with subtle tannins. A delightful addition to my non-alcoholic wine choices.
L'Antidote Sparkling Gamay France
Not quite a wine but still, we enjoyed this one. This is a juice and tea beverage. It has earthy notes, subtle bubbles, and a hint of sweetness—perfect for a dessert pairing.
Artis Merlot France
This one was a total flop for us. It felt like drinking juice.
Enzweil Zero, Riesling Germany
An interesting choice with mineral notes, and the balance between acidity and sugar was intriguing. I wouldn't mind having this one again.
Lautus de-Alcoholized Sauvignon Blanc South Africa
Smooth and easy to drink, both smooth and crisp. Another one I wouldn't mind buying again.
As I explored different non-alcoholic wine options, it was interesting to discover these choices. While some didn't quite hit the mark, there are others I would happily buy again. The journey allowed me to embrace the world of alcohol-free wines, although I must admit I still prefer alcoholic wine. However, it's great to know I have good non-alcoholic options to offer guests who don't drink.
Whether you're a wine enthusiast or just exploring alternatives, non-alcoholic wines provide a variety of flavors to suit every palate if you're willing to give this option a try. Cheers to new tastes and experiences!

The Art of Living by Lamllenel: A Guide to Monthly Resets for a Better Life
I believe maintaining a sense of order and tranquility is essential for our overall well-being. One way of doing that is by engaging in periodic resets. In this guide, we explore various areas of focus, from deep cleaning specific spaces to financial check-ins and health audits.
Are you ready?! Let's delve into the art of living intentionally and the power behind intentional resets.
Monthly Reset
Deep Clean a Specific Area:
Choose a targeted area in your home each month, be it can be kitchen cabinets, bathroom tiles, or the bedroom closet. Dedicate time to declutter, wipe down surfaces, and organize the space.
Deep cleaning prevents the accumulation of dirt and grime, ensuring a healthier living environment. It streamlines organization, making daily tasks more efficient and creating a harmonious atmosphere.
It's time to stop neglecting the care of your appliances. Once a month, you should deep clean your dishwasher, oven, washing machine, etc.
Rotate and Inspect Household Items:
Don't overlook this one. This is part of the small things that you won't regret doing in the long term.
Every month you should rotate or inspect frequently used but often overlooked items – flip mattresses, rotate couch cushions, check fire extinguishers, and test smoke detectors.
By doing regular maintenance, you will be able to extend the lifespan of household items, maximizing their function optimally. This practice will help make sure you do everything in your power to ensure safety measures, addressing potential issues before they escalate.
Digital Decluttering:
Because not every picture will turn into a memory. Dedicate a day each month to digital decluttering. Organize computer files, delete unnecessary documents, clean up your email inbox, and review and update passwords.
There are plenty of benefits in digital decluttering. It will help improve organization, making it easier to find essential files. It enhances online security by removing outdated information and streamlines your digital presence.
Financial Check-In:
Listen, we all need more of this one. Set aside time each month to review your budget, track expenses, and assess financial goals. Update savings plans, review investment portfolios, and check for irregularities in bank statements.
Doing regular financial check-ins promotes financial health and awareness (We absolutely want that.) They help identify areas for potential savings, adjust spending habits, and keep you on track toward financial goals.
Health and Wellness Audit:
Do your body good; you only have one. Conduct a monthly health and wellness audit. Schedule time for a check. It can be booking a clean-up at the dentist, booking a massage, checking your cholesterol level, hair trimming, etc. You can also do a comprehensive body check, review exercise routines, assess dietary habits, and prioritize mental well-being with new self-care practices.
By doing regular health check-ins, you'll be able to identify emerging concerns, adjusting fitness goals.
By incorporating these monthly reset activities into your routine, you will be able to enhance your living situation. Whether it's a Sunday reset, monthly decluttering, or financial check-ins, consistency in these practices ensures a clean, organized living space, and a harmonious life.
Remember, it is not just a routine; it's a way of life. Live intentionally and revel in the art of living.

Creating a Christ-Centered Vision Board: Declaring God's Promises Over Your Life
Lamllenel
Introduction:
Hello darling and welcome to a transformative journey of setting goals and envisioning a brighter future through the lens of faith. In this blog post, we'll explore the art of creating a vision board with an overarching theme: "Jesus at the Center | Soft Life Through Christ." Our focus is on weaving biblical promises into the fabric of our aspirations. ( How poetic is that?!)
The Art of Vision Boarding:
The purpose of a vision board is to provide clarity about our anticipated or desired experiences for the upcoming year. Even though we set goals and make wishes, the essence of Christ remains at the center, guiding our aspirations. While we can dream of various things, we acknowledge that God's wisdom prevails, granting us what we truly need, even if it differs from our expectations. I encourage you to dream big, directing your focus not solely on material possessions but on endeavors that contribute to personal growth. It's acceptable to desire material things as long as they do not become idols in your life.
Benefits of Creating a Vision Board:
Clarity and Focus: Vision boards serve as a visual roadmap, offering a clear depiction of our goals. This clarity enables us to refine our aspirations and maintain focus on what truly matters.
Motivation and Inspiration: The visual representation of our dreams on the board acts as a perpetual motivator. It inspires us to take consistent steps toward our objectives, transforming our dreams into tangible realities.
Positive Mindset: The process of engaging in vision board creation fosters a positive mindset. It reinforces the belief that our goals are not just attainable but also within reach.
Alignment with Values:Vision boards encourage a thoughtful alignment of our aspirations with our core values. This ensures that our pursuits resonate with our beliefs and contribute positively to our overall well-being.
Actualization: Regular visualization of our goals through the vision board is considered a key driver for turning dreams into reality. It becomes a tangible process that transforms our aspirations into concrete achievements, providing a pathway to actualize our dreams.
As we transition into specific themes, keep in mind that the four themes presented are universal and can benefit everyone. However, don't hesitate to add or swap themes based on what resonates with you personally. This example serves as a starting point, and the true power of a vision board lies in its customization to meet your unique needs and aspirations. On that note let's start!
Theme 1: Health
"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies." - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NIV)
Incorporate images and words that represent your desire for a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Whether it's physical, mental, or spiritual health, let Christ be the center of your well-being.
Theme 2: Relationships
"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." - 1 Peter 4:8 (NIV)
Build a vision for nurturing meaningful relationships. Include images that symbolize unity, forgiveness, and the warmth of Christ's love fostering connections with family, friends, and community.
Theme 3: Finances
"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'" - Hebrews 13:5 (NIV)
Envision financial goals with a focus on contentment and trust in God's provision. Use visuals that represent stewardship, wise financial choices, and faith in His abundance.
Theme 4: Education
"Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them." - Proverbs 4:5 (NIV)
Craft a vision for personal and spiritual growth through education. Include images that inspire knowledge, wisdom, and a commitment to lifelong learning grounded in biblical principles.
Theme 5: Travel
"God said, 'Go into the world, spread the good vibes everywhere!'" - Mark 16:15 (NIV)
Time to plan some adventures! Paste on pics of far-off places, new faces, and places where you can vibe with Jesus' message. It's travel goals with a divine passport stamp, y'all!
As we conclude our venture into visionary board creation, we emphasize the importance of balancing aspirations with divine guidance. While dreams and goals are valid, acknowledging God's sovereign will and provision ensures a harmonious journey.

Perfume has been used for centuries as a way to enhance one's natural scent and create a unique signature fragrance. One of the most beloved scents in the perfume world is the rose scent, which has been used in fragrances for centuries. Rose is a classic scent that is both feminine and romantic, and it can add a touch of sophistication to any perfume.
Byredo is a Swedish fragrance house that is known for creating high-quality, unique scents that are both modern and timeless. One of their most popular fragrances is Rose of No Man's Land, which is inspired by the nurses who served in World War I. This fragrance is a tribute to their courage and compassion, and it features a beautiful rose scent that is both delicate and powerful.
The rose scent in Rose of No Man's Land is a blend of Turkish rose petals, pink pepper, and raspberry blossom. This combination creates a beautiful, floral scent that is both feminine and sophisticated. The Turkish rose petals are the star of the show, and they add a soft, velvety texture to the fragrance. The pink pepper adds a subtle spiciness, while the raspberry blossom adds a touch of sweetness.
One of the great things about Rose of No Man's Land is that it is a skin scent. This means that it is designed to blend with your skin's natural oils to create a unique fragrance that is all your own. This also means that the fragrance is not overpowering, and it won't announce your arrival before you even enter a room.
When it comes to wearing perfume, it's important to know how to apply it properly. The best way to apply perfume is to spray it onto your pulse points, which are the areas of your body where your blood vessels are closest to the skin. This includes your wrists, neck, and behind your ears. By applying perfume to these areas, you will help to intensify the scent and ensure that it lasts all day.
In conclusion, the combination of perfume and rose scent is truly alluring. Byredo's Rose of No Man's Land is a beautiful fragrance that features a delicate and powerful rose scent. It is a skin scent, which means that it blends with your skin's natural oils to create a unique fragrance that is all your own. If you're looking for a timeless and sophisticated fragrance that will make you feel confident and beautiful, Rose of No Man's Land is definitely worth a try.
I recently had the pleasure of attending a media invite for the launch of a new fragrance by Maison Margiela called "On a date." As a long-time fan of the brand I was thrilled to be a part of this exciting event.
The dinner was nothing short of spectacular, with a delectable menu and exceptional service that left everyone feeling pampered and indulged. The ambiance was perfect for the occasion, with the soft lighting, the elegant decor and beautiful flowers.
As we sat down to enjoy the meal, we were each presented with a bottle of "On a date" by Maison Margiela. I eagerly spritzed some on my wrist and was immediately struck by its captivating scent. It was a perfect blend of sweetness and spice, with notes of vanilla, mandarin, and cinnamon that left a lingering, sensual fragrance that I couldn't get enough of.
Throughout the evening, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a special occasion. The combination of the beautiful location, the romantic atmosphere, and the exquisite fragrance all came together to create an unforgettable experience that I will always treasure.
As I left the venue, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for what's to come for Maison Margiela's new fragrance. It was truly a night to remember, and I feel so lucky to have been a part of it.
